I can't reproduce it on Solaris 8 with the same SDK and PHP 5.1 CVS. Please check that this version of SDK is supposed to work on Solaris 9 ('cause it's name says "for Solaris 8"). Also make sure you have -mimpure-text option in your CFLAGS.
