From: mail at asger dot dk Operating system: Windows XP PHP version: 5.1.4 PHP Bug Type: ODBC related Bug description: odbc_fetch_array returns false when there are more rows.
Description: ------------ I have a script connecting to a Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere 9. I iterate through the resultset like this: while($row = odbc_fetch_array($res)) { ... } Sometimes when I try to fetch a large resultset the odbc_fetch_array returns false and the loop stops when there are more rows. The only way I can fetch all rows is to set the second argument to odbc_fetch_array where I force the function to fetch a specific row. To get the actual number of rows I have to run a sql and count the number of rows before I get the resultset. I'm not sure that this is a PHP problem, it could be the odbc driver or something else. But I don't know how to solve the problem or debug it further. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=38192&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 4.4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=trysnapshot44 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=trysnapshot52 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=38192&r=mysqlcfg
