Its either that or you stop creating your own classes or interfaces. Every time you make an upgrade and you introduce a class or an interface we have to change our code to remove those names so we can have our code runing on the new version. or we just dont upgrade it and let all the security holes there. Either you make a true objected oriented language or just stay to just functions and let us deal with the classes. We cannot upgrade from 5.04 to 5.16 because your 5.10 has the Serializable intrface which many peopel coded long before you did!
