From: thehub at lofty dot net dot au Operating system: any PHP version: 4.4.4 PHP Bug Type: *Languages/Translation Bug description: International friendly mktime alternative
Description: ------------ I've had to make my own mkdate function to call mktime and rearrange the params because mktime uses the usa-only format that doesn't make mathematical sense. Please add these functions to the standard php date/time functions. Reproduce code: --------------- mkdate($day[, $month[, $year]]) mkitime($second[, $minute[, $hour[, $day[, $month[, $year[, $is_dst]]]]]])) mkidate($year[, $month[, $day[, $hour[, $minute[, $second[, $is_dst]]]]]]) Expected result: ---------------- Give the writer of the original mktime function a good whack upside the head for me, for thinking that repeating a mistake enough times will make it right. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=39385&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 4.4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=trysnapshot44 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=trysnapshot52 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39385&r=mysqlcfg
