I'm also experiencing this problem. I have xammplite on my system. I needed to use symfony for my work and so I am studying it, I tried doing the tutorial provided (http://www.symfony-project.com/tutorial/my_first_project.html) and everytime I attempt to create a post, my apache crashes. I have the same problem on other scripts as well. All those scripts use DOM.
