I see it's difficult for you to understand that you're not in a position to be the judge and decide whether a given reason is valid or not. Another concept that you appear to be finding difficult to grasp is that some of us around here are actually human. Ease of use is more than enough reason for us. If aliases such as php-src-ze2 give you a kick, you don't see me trying to prove to you that it's ugly as obfuscated Perl code and should be burned in the flames of hell. Likewise, stay away from our human, mortal php5 alias.
