Having left this patch on a web page for people to download, I've found none of them have had issues with it. It seems that SQL_BLOB may only be a DB2 thing. I see no reason to keep this patch in any further, so feel free to revert it, or tell me how to remove the TAG status (1.173) before I revert it incorrectly.
