Hi,

What's the point in that "Sybase" prefix?
We don't have "Oracle: invalid connection" or "MySQL: broken query" errors
and they seem quite pointless to me, taking into account that they come
along with the function names, which already contain that "sybase_" or "mysql_" prefix.

Yes, they're stupid and annoying, and I'd remove them if I didn't know that people rely on this like in preg_match('/Sybase: /', $php_errormsg) - so I decided to keep it until now (and to be consistent inside the extension to have it everywhere).

What do the both of you think? Drop it and include a note in NEWS?
