ok .

i've had this problem and fixed it thus:

--with-pgsql=/path/to/unzipped/files

e.g. --with-pgsql=/usr/src/postgresql7.1.1/

and it works, and has done for the last seven months.

rasmus bit my head off though when i suggested it though so ssssshhhhh.
