php_gd2.dll probably needs to be copied from your php install directory to
your windows system directory (so that it is in the path thingy). On my
system that translated to :

copy c:\php\extensions\php_gd2.dll to c:\WINNT\php_gd2.dll

for more information see,

http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.windows.php

the "Installation of Windows extensions" section

or the install.txt file in your php directory
