Hi. I have abandonned the install, and used another php install, which is
already configured to run with apache and mySql. Please consider the
incident as 'closed'.

Hi.
I'm trying to call mySql from php.
MySql works fine on its side. So does php.
However, the following code crashes and opens a crash alert:
<?
//establish user connection
mysql_connect("localhost");
?>
It crashes in PHP4TS.DLL
Any clue?
