From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Operating system: FreeBSD 4.3-STABLE PHP version: 4.0.6 PHP Bug Type: Feature/Change Request Bug description: PEAR::db and dbx extension I was wondering what the plan of attack was for these two items, the PEAR::db set of files and the dbx extension. Both of these appear to be trying to accomplish the same task of abstracting database connections. I am looking to convert my code to a more uniformally conformed abstraction layer (it currently is using a custom-written one) and I was wondering if these two items were going to merge at some point in the future and/or if their syntaxes were somewhat stable? Thanks. sorry in advance if this is the wrong place to post this. -- Edit bug report at: http://bugs.php.net/?id=12564&edit=1 -- PHP Development Mailing List <http://www.php.net/> To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To contact the list administrators, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
