The version of the php is 4.04.1!
Operating system: Unix

1)
A string including "'", example: "Marcellino's products" is typed in
and submitted by the user into a table in MySql (version 3.23.32) with
the command "INSERT".

2)
Only in case of updating the line with the command "UPDATE",
PHP sometimes understands the "'" as a part of the code and not as
string and dies!

This was also tested on the Windows2000 Prof. with APACHE server and
PHP but no problem was detected.

I do not know if it is a bug or not but in any way I would be glad to
recieve an answer from you.

Thanks

Hatamy
