A question popped into my mind. I know GD doesn't support GIF because of Unisys' license on the LZW compression format.
Then how can ImageMagick support it? It would sure be nice with an API to ImageMagick (PHPMagick?) as found in Perl. Has anyone started on this before, then I would like to know about it.
