No, filter implies that it's an object whose purpose is to take an input
set and return a smaller output set. That's not at all what
LinkCollection/LinkProvider is for. It's to indicate an object which
carries and contains links, but potentially other stuff as well. That
there is a method to extract only a subset of those links is just a
convenience routine.
