hi, i try to parse an xml document. but the function characterData which should process the found data is never called. startElement and endElement are called. it does not fails opening it and it gets te correct number of stories.u can have a look on the output at http://www.programmers-world.net/test/slashdot.php. thanks for any help bye sascha
