[PHP] I need some advice

Hi,
    Am I missing something.... How is it that I can read php code en
htmls files but I can't read php3 files?????
    I check that mod_php3.c is load with /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -l
    I add the following lines:
            AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php3
            AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .html
            AddType application/x-httpd-php3 -source .phps
