What im wondering, is if I have a user upload a file in txt, or doc format if there is an easy way to read that file, store the information in the database so it is easily accessable later. I thinkg that longtext would be the right mysql option for me. One problem I need to conquer is how to maintain formatting in the documents. Any suggestions and comments are welcome.
