You clearly know your stuff about search engines.
I was planning to use the header:
header("Expires: " . gmdate("D, d M Y H:i:s") . " GMT");
to ensure that pages are not cached in the client.
But reading your excellent contribution, I was wondering whether a
search bot would see this and decide not to index as the page was
about to expire.
Any advice much appreciated
