Actually... I'm not claiming to be an expert at either, but there are times when a table layout is easier/faster to get exactly what I want in all browsers than the CSS solution, which is more appealing from a theoretical POV, but may not actually put things where I want them in every browser. -- Some people have a "gift" link here.
