Usually you need to specify the type: inner join, left join, right join,
straight join etc.

I guess that whatever database you are using doesn't allow 'JOIN' as a
join type.
Usually you need to specify the type: inner join, left join, right join,
straight join etc.
Ask your specific database list about it.
