OK, OK...so I read it through too quickly!
Then I would suggest a second query to count the rows. ifx_affected_rows
cannot be relied on for accurate counts in SELECT queries, it is on
accurate for INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements.
ifx_num_rows may be soon to be an included function.
