Every standard conformance test can tell you since years that IE6 is broken. At that point, you'll be exactly in the same situation, if your customers do not want to update for same reason they are not doing right now, why would you leave them "alone" next July when everybody is screaming against that horror software. IE6 had glorious days 7 years ago, now it's like complaining that petrol stations do not sell carbon to go anymore ... the utopia is: if tomorrow everybody will stop to support IE6 these deprecated companies will have to update - it works with everything, marketing speaking, it does not work with IE6, 'cause it's Microsoft marketing.
