thanks jon....was more of a 'how are you going to' rather than 'how is it
possible' :-)
either way, from lynx or from php being a cgi a simple shell script or perl
script should be able to make the appropriate call...

0 3 * * * lynx -dump http://mysite.com/mypage.php > /dev/null
