Even if your code was duff, you wouldn't get the save as if IIS was correctly configured.
Get your ISP to check that for your site, IIS has a scriptmap for .php mapped onto php.exe. If he needs more detailed instructions, they are in the online php manual at www.php.net or in the install.txt file supplied with the windows distribution of php.
