I want to make a database connection with odbc. My php-script is running on linux, the database (centura sqlbase 7.5) is running on win2000. Is it possible to make a direct odbc-connection to the database or do I really need a software-bridge for this connection? Someone said it is unpossible without a software-bridge, even though when I use odbc. But I forgot why, how und who...
