I have compiled and installed php4.2.1 on my linux www server that runs apache. Since we have many virtual hosts and utilize suexec I decided to install php as a binary and be able to use php as a cgi binary. I am able to run my php scripts through suexec which is great. The problem is that any changes I make to php.ini are not reflected on the php()info page. No doc_root, nothing.... Do I lose the safe mode ability since we installed as a cgi? What do I need to do to see what happening? Thanks. Lewis Watson
