If you are running the php on *nix, and wanting to import the file on excel, you will need it.. Another thing you can do, is create it in an html/table format <table> <tr> <td>data1</td> </tr> .... </table> this will be read fine by excel regardless of the end of line string. -- ======================================================================= Michael J.
