How do you define idle time in a stateless environment?? How do you know if it just takes the person 20 minutes to read the page, or they are idle?
All you can do is set a time when the page was requested, and when the next page is requested, if it's been over XX minutes, they were idle too long and they must log in again. ---John Holmes... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jefferson Cowart" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, June 27, 2002 5:13 PM Subject: [PHP] PHP Session Idle Time > I'm writing a web application in which I would like the session to > expire after a certain amount of idle time.
