I am guessing that you installed the php from a redhat rpm; if so then you just need to install the php-mysql rpm. You can download from: http://rpmfind.net//linux/RPM/redhat/8.0/i386/php-mysql-4.2.2-8.0.5.i386.htm l (or any of a number of other places).

So far, all well. However, I just ran into a problem with MySQL. PHP doesn't have the MySQL functions in it. Is there another way to install those without having to re-compile PHP?
