I run a webserver with PHP 4.2.3 currently working on
it. I recently tried to download and install either
PHP 4.3.0 or PHP 4.3.1 to no avail.
Running the simplest possible configuration with:
./configure
make

This file has not been modified by myself and the
machine is regularly applied patches from RHN. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
