Well, I tried to use sprintf to insert the variables from a form into a string and print that out to a file, but since there is no way to match up the variables in the string with the variables from the form **reliably**, it doesn't cut it. I removed all of the % signs from the template and it made the data align, but I need a very accurate way to do this.
I just want to write files with the values filled in. I don't want to have to go back to using perl (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I'm trying to create a website generation program that fills in the client's information on web templates (headers and footers). I'm back at Square 1 again..... ANy ideas?
