Hi Emily

Not sure how much help I can be, but have you tried registering the dll 
file?

you could try this
start > run and type

regsvr32 C:/Program Files/Apache Software 
Foundation/Apache2.2/modules/php4apache2.dll

It may be worth a shot if you have not tried it before.
