Hello everyone, You are receiving this email because your project has been selected to take part in an effort by the PHP QA Team to make sure that your project still works with PHP versions to-be-released. With this we hope to make sure that you are either aware of things that might break, or to make sure we don't introduce any strange regressions.
The 6th alpha for 5.5 was just released and can be downloaded from: http://qa.php.net/ The Windows binaries are available at http://windows.php.net/qa/ PHP 5.5.0 contains a lot of new features and bugfixes. PHP5.5.0alpha6 also adds some fix commits against alpha5 and has mainly been released to give more time to the ZendOptimizer+ vote to finish. Please test your code carefully with PHP 5.5.0alpha6 to help us release a stable new PHP version. For a list of new features and bugfixes that you can target in your testing, please refer to the NEWS file: https://github.com/php/php-src/blob/php-5.5.0alpha6/NEWS<https://github.com/php/php-src/blob/php-5.5.0alpha1/NEWS> The next release should begin the beta stage, we had a delay in beta stage due to ZendOptimizer+ feature coming. For your information, we won't accept any new feature in the betas. March 19th will be the last day to merge new features as beta 1 is expected to be released on March 21st. In case you think that other projects should also receive this kind of emails, please let us know privately, and we will add them to the list of projects to contact. Regards, Julien Pauli and David Soria Parra
