Just tested your code

class Foo {
var $classVariable;
function Foo ( $var1 ) {
$this->classVariable = $var1;
}
}
$anotherVariable = 5;
$objFoo = new Foo ( $anotherVariable );
?>
This works fine on my W2K box. There should be no problems uses classes and this way
on any Windows platform. I'm using php4.0.5-dev though. Not sure if that can have
anything to do with your errors.
