Are you serious about using Apache 1.3.6? Yowser that's old!!! I'd update
to Apache 2 and PHP 4.2.3 right away!
I've had no problems on my Win2k (workstation) using Apache 2.0.39 and PHP
4.2.2. What are the specs on the hardware?
And <rant> why'd you move from slackware? </rant>
