Yes, that is exactly what I told the "owner" of this new and separate CVS
repository. It is a real problem, but when the initial translation has
being done, it will surely be easier to synch to the "updated" version
from php.net.

Indeed the group hasn't even started distributing CVS accounts for those
allegedly 30 "translators". The mailing list for this group has being dead
for 15 days and nothing is being done.
Anyway, I just sent an e-mail to that list asking what is going on, and
what is the plan for the really-near future. I'm ready to start
translating stuff here from cvs.php.net, but I'm not sure if that group is
going to start working 2 months from now or tonight even.
I will post here news about this issue in any case.
