Hi! Previously Martin Jansen asked us to not remove the PEAR manual section, but put a note up there, that it is obsolote, and people must visit pear.php.net to get the up to date version.
As PEAR has its own manual, and there is much more documentation there both regarding quantity and quality, we do we still let the old, not updated PEAR doc stay in the official manual? I would like to ask permisson again to remove the PEAR part from the PHP manual, as I think this is just confusing for people coming to the documentation. We have two documentations for the same thing, similar but not the same. I would be confused if I would not be an insider in this case... Goba
