Didn't we all agree a couple of years ago to use the OpenContent publication license? It was just that nobody ever got around to actually changing it? Or maybe I am remembering wrong. Some searching of the archives should turn something up.
The license text is here: http://opencontent.org/openpub/ I'd say neither of the options (a) nor (b) should be added in our case. Another option is of course the FDL: http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/fdl.html -Rasmus On Fri, 8 Feb 2002, Georg Richter wrote: > Hello Egon, > > in your last Mail you told me that it would be not a problem to change the > license - you only need the ok from the other contributors. > > Currently I'm involved to prepare and organize the PHP Doc Meeting, so I > don't have enough time to do other things :-( > > An important step would be the license question - please could you ask other > contributors for their opinion and ok/no - this would be a milestone for the > next meeting, and of course for the future of php manual. > > Thanx for you help! > > George >
