Well, DomXML is special in phpdoc (similarly to ming) where we have classes and methods, but not functions... How they are currently documented is not the best way to go (as discussed earlier at the documentation meeting). So the documentation should be reorganized to use DocBook 4 OO features and not simply document class methods as PHP functions...
