the "Overfull \hbox ..." messages are just about TeX not being able to fit some text into the desired linewidth, here due to no whitespace in the output. these messages are just warnings that tell you that your output will look 'suboptimal'. This messages are important if the mismatch is rather small as you might overlook this while proofreading, but text overlapping by 1000+ points won't be overlooked ;) (although it might be cut off by paper margins) the actual problem seems to live in an earlier processing stage ... does anyone know about chinese support in TeX in general? -- Six Offene Systeme GmbH http://www.six.de/ i.A.
