From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Operating system: Linux PHP version: 4.2.3 PHP Bug Type: Documentation problem Bug description: mysql_error in mysql code examples
Hello, I answer questions on a php help bbs (www.phpworld.com). One of the most common problems reported is that the users don't know why their database calls are not working. Usually they have copied the code right out of the examples (e.g. mysql_connect()), which do not utilize mysql_error(). I was wondering if these examples could be changed to use mysql_error() and thus reduce newbie confusion.
