Similiar is true for ftp_close and ftp_quit. Aliased functions should contain version infos. The manual says: read_exif_data is an alias of exif_read_data, containing no version info. AFAIK in 4.2.0 read_exif data becomes an alias of exif_read data. The docs for read_exif_data are quite misleading, one could get the wrong impression, that read_exif_data is available >= 4.2.0 which is plain wrong.
