My understanding is that this was correct (and is correct) for publishing on pap
er (". "), but not on-screen -- typists using old typewriters to write, needed
to insert two spaces because one made the sentences run together..
doesn't HTML's condensation of whitespace fix this issue, anyway?
The files might be a bit smaller without the two spaces, and more consistent :))
