There is no count of this, but surelly tons!!...
2. Total number of files to be translated?
Around 3800 files.
A better (and more easier to measure) count is the total size of the files.
3. What would be the suggested number of technical translators?
I don't know, but at least 10?
4. How long it may take if we start with full time of 3 man group?
3 guys isn't too much, but if they are working in full time.... It will take at least one year. The manual is really huge. And after translating you must maintain that translations. The english version of the manual is always beeing updated and you should your translations up-to-date.
It will surely not take one year with three technical translators working in full time. I cannot mesure it though. The text is quite understandable, if the translators know PHP. If they don't know PHP, and they are not motivated to learn it, then it will be a pain to translate, a huge pain.
