Yes, it was done intentionally for peoploe to be able to copy/paste examples.
Dunno what to do with old info. Perhaps it should be removed to avoid duplication..
And about forcing people: well, I can't force people to use new functions, because 
they exist only in PHP5, which is not stable ATM.

So, if I remove texts from old files - may I leave examples there or it's better to 
remove all contents at all?
IMHO both these options are ugly enough =(
