We (Carsten and I) developed an extension for PECL that is able to work with ID3 tags (the ones in MP3 files). Wez told me that docs for PECL extensions should be included in phpdoc.
I already wrote up some documentation for the extension, you can view it at:

Which steps do we have to go from here? Can we directly commit to the repository? Or do I have to send the docbook files to the list?
