So why don't we add a warning in the "alternative syntax" page ?
I think the manual should "document" PHP. Adding a link and a warning sounds better to me than hiding a feature.
If someone now finds the alternative syntax, without a note expaining that this syntax sux and that it shouldn't be used, he is maybe going to use it thinking it's ok. We better tell people: it exists, but don't use it. got my point ? :)
BTW, just for my own knowledge, why does it suck ?
