Good. Updated the howto, and removed the references to phpdoc-tools. If you have any more suggestion, or corrections to that part of the howto (or any other part whatsoever :), feel free to step up.
Thanks for your active participation in cleaning this stuff up, it was much needed. I hope others will also find this solution working around, especially now that two of you confirmed that this solution works.
