That looks pretty good. One thing that sprung to mind is that you don't mention much about Windows tools, but you do give examples of Linux tools. I don't know what the common platform is, but I use Windows. My tool of choice is obviously Cygwin for source management, but also Jedit for the actual editing of the docs.
